Using Optrex ActiMist™ 2in1 Eye Sprays couldn't be easier! If you find drops, gels and washes difficult & messy to apply then this is a great alternative.
When using for the first time push down on the nozzle three or four times to start the spray mechanism.
1. Hold the spray 10cm from your CLOSED eyelid.
2. Spray 1-2 times onto your closed eyelid.
3. Use 3 or 4 times a day (suitable for every day use)
What’s it for?
If you experience dry eyes, the cause could be down to the disruption of the tear film lipid layer. If this layer is damaged, moisture from the aqueous layer below it can escape.
To help repair or replenish the lipid layer, liposomes can to be introduced which can help stabilise and lock in the natural moisture.
What’s the Benefit?
Unlike eye drops, Actimist is sprayed onto closed eyes. This has two benefits:
The first is that you don’t have to lean backwards during application, which some might not be able to do due to age, or back or neck problems.
The second is that you don’t have to look directly at the bottle, and wait for a drop to fall onto your eye, since you apply with closed eyes. This helps take away some discomfort.
Being a spray, Optrex Actimist also covers the wider area of your eye, so there’s less chance of missing the intended area and having to apply again.
Optrex Actimist for tired and uncomfortable eyes, also contains Pro-Vitamin B5, and can help to moisturise the eyelids, as well as areas around the eyes. What's more, it won't smudge make-up and is suitable to use with contact lenses.
Optrex Actimist helps your eyes feel fresher and soothes dry eyes.* Remember, the symptoms experienced could be induced by your environment: air conditioner blowing in your face, prolonged screen exposure, or from wearing contact lenses.
Try to reduce your exposure to such conditions if you can but should you experience symptoms, use Optrex ActiMist for long lasting relief of up to 4 hours.
We recommend using Actimist, which could soothe feelings of tiredness in your eye, as well as dryness.
* Dry & irritated eyes due to disturbed lipid layer of the tear film causes approx. 80% of dry eye cases
Suitable for use with contact lenses.
